Twitter publicizes subscription-based “Tremendous Follows” operate

Twitter just announced its new paid Super Follows feature, which is slated to be released later this year.

This upcoming feature gives influencers and artists the ability to monetize content and offer their audiences something special in return for their support – starting at $ 4.99 per month. These benefits can range from additional tweets to a newsletter subscription for a badge to access to a community group, another upcoming feature on Twitter.

Various other platforms, including Facebook and YouTube, have launched similar subscription-based campaigns for developers. As streamers know, Twitch is largely subscription based too. Sites like Patreon and OnlyFans also thrive within this business model.

In addition, Twitter’s newly announced communities bring users together, much like Facebook groups. Communities can be created based on interests or fan bases, adding another layer to the Twittersphere.

There are also rooms on Twitter where users can converse in audio-based chat rooms.

All of this information was distributed during Twitter’s first virtual Analyst Day event.
