The Twilight Zone is just not returning for Season three on Paramount +

Paramount + leaves The Twilight Zone.

According to TVLine, Jordan Peele’s scary anthology series won’t be returning on the streaming site for season three.

Peele (Get Out, Us) hosted, narrated and produced the Revival, which was a modern refreshment of the 1960s science fiction series. Notable guest stars were Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead), Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation), Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: SVU), Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg), Billy Porter (Pose), Jimmi Simpson (Westworld), Joel McHale (Community) and Morena Baccarin (Gotham).

“Jordan Peele, [executive producer] Simon Kinberg and the entire production team have really reimagined The Twilight Zone for the modern age, ”said Julie McNamara, executive vice president and program director of Paramount +, in a statement to TVLine. “They have preserved the legacy of the classic socially conscious storytelling series and pushed today’s viewers to explore all new dimensions of thought-provoking and timely topics that we hope will resonate with audiences in the years to come.”

The second season of the Twilight Zone premiered on CBS All Access (soon to become Paramount +) in June 2020.
