The Masked Singer: The freshest references to solar, seahorses, snake and extra

Don't ask for the ring: This week's The Masked Singer rang Snow Owls, the show's first duo act.

The two warlers showed a wonderful performance by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion's "The Prayer", but had to face the popcorn in the smackdown round. Her do-or-die song was Dion's "Because You Loved Me" and it was very good. In the end, Popcorn's version of "(Everything I Do) I'll Do It For You" by Bryan Adams kept her competing for another week while Snowy Owls were done. (Read a full summary.)

When the birds were beheaded, Snow Owls was exposed as country singer Clint Black and his 29-year-old wife, Knots Landing alum Lisa Hartman Black. (Read her Exit interview here.)

Now, before episode 8 on Wednesday (Fox, 8 / 7c), it's time to revisit our comprehensive collection of clues. Our mission is clear, but the work is cut out for us: identify the celebs under the costumes before they are exposed. Is Sun the country singer we suspect she is? Is Serpent an Essential Gold Pipe Worker? We have our guesses, but we also want to know what you think.

As we've done all season, we'll keep updating the gallery on the right with information from this week's show, adding our (and some of your) thoughts on who's among the costumes. So let's get started! Record your thoughts, theories, and developing guesses in the comments section!
