Regé-Jean Page brings up the latest rumors about James Bond following Bridgerton’s breathtaking exit
Regé-Jean himself took to Instagram later that day to confirm his departure, calling the role the “Ride of a Lifetime”.
The amazing news of his exit prompted British bookmakers to reduce the likelihood of him becoming Bond, adding him to such A-listers as Tom HardyAccording to British media.
Before it became known that he would not be returning to Bridgerton, Regé-Jean had asked whether he might try on Bond’s tuxedo. “When you’re British and do something of any kind of notoriety that people see well, then people start saying the ‘B’ word,” he said Jimmy Fallon in January, based on his recent comments on The Mirror.
Now his dance card is filling up, Bond or not. In March, Regé-Jean began shooting the Netflix thriller The Gray Man opposite Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling. He should also appear with Chris Pine and Hugh Grant in an upcoming film adaptation of Dungeons & Dragons released in May 2022.
In other words, there will still be plenty of ways to see him smolder on the screen, even if or not he does it with a martini in hand.
