Daft Punk simply dropped the "Full Version" of TRON Soundtrack with 9 extra tracks
A decade has passed since then Daft punk released TRON: Legacy, their soundtrack for the film's sequel of the same name. Behind Random Access Memories, it was one of the last music collections they released. Now, seemingly out of nowhere, they have returned to the soundtrack with The Complete Edition, including 9 more tracks.
In July, TRON: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski pointed out unreleased music from the film in an interview with Collider.
"I can't confirm or deny that there is incredible music that we couldn't put in the film," he said. However, he apparently confirmed it, adding, “One day it would be nice to find a way to share this. Disney needs some other revenue stream right now. I wouldn't be surprised if we tried that at some point. That would be great."
Apparently it was all true and the music was released! New tracks like "Sea of Simulation", "Castor", "Reflections" and more can now be streamed on all streaming services. Check it out below.
