Al Roker meets along with his Butterman "Slippery Nemesis" at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
Thanksgiving is about bringing people together, and this year Al Roker reunited with his buttery nemesis.
Last year, Today's weatherman and co-host of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade worked on the event as a man in a butter suit – whose alter ego is Donny Willis, Pastor at Westchester Church in Valhalla, New York– –kicked his shot.
"Get out of here, ya butter!" Al said to the man and pushed him away. "Ah! I can't believe it's not butter!"
The Butter Man later caught up with Al while on the parade route and cemented their Thanksgiving rivalry. The moment went viral with stars like Hamilton Lin-Manuel Miranda share the moment on social media.
The creator of In the Heights shared the video of Al pushing the man away and tweeted, "Roker pushed a butter."
Al and Donny caught up again this year – but this time it was a much friendlier exchange.
"Butter is back and better than ever," said Al when he met Donny on the street. "Donny Willis repeats his role, and when I say role I mean & # 39; buttered buns & # 39 ;."
